Due to the threat of drone attacks in the Russian city of Sochi, tourists on the beaches are being urgently evacuated to safe areas. According to the city's mayor, Andrey Proshunin, residents are advised to stay in windowless areas and avoid going outside.
Schools, beaches, and open-air pools are being cleared, including vacationers near the Olympic facilities in the "Sirius" area, who have also been evacuated.
At Sochi Airport, restrictions have been imposed on flight departures and arrivals, with dozens of flights delayed. Additionally, the "Psou" border checkpoint with Abkhazia has been temporarily closed.
The government has urged citizens to refrain from filming videos of air defense operations or falling drone debris.
