In January 2025, Uzbekistan imported 1,796 light vehicles worth 31 million dollars.
According to the monthly report of the Customs Committee, during the corresponding period of the previous year, light vehicles worth 221.4 million dollars were imported, totaling 10,152 units.
Over the past year, the import of automobiles decreased more than 7 times in value and 5.6 times in quantity.
The largest decrease was observed in the import of hybrid vehicles – 31 times. The decrease in the import of electric vehicles and gasoline-powered light vehicles was 6.7 times and 2.5 times, respectively.
