From July 2, 2025, when the annual income of self-employed individuals exceeds 100 million UZS, the taxes they are required to pay will be withheld at the source by legal entities (tax agents) – namely aggregators, based on the notification of the state tax authorities. The State Tax Service  announced this.

Currently, 776.7 thousand individuals engaged in self-employment are registered and actively working in the field of transporting passengers by light vehicles and delivering goods on order.

As of July 1, 208 legal entities – online taxi aggregators, are fully integrated with the information systems of the tax authorities, providing routeless taxi services to the population through over 430 thousand drivers. Through these aggregators, 89.6 billion UZS in taxes has been paid to the state.

Additionally, it has been reported that during this year, the annual income of 189 self-employed individuals has exceeded 100 million UZS.
