On the eve of Navruz celebration, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Egypt published Mahmoud Kashgari's "Divanu Lughat at-Turk" in Arabic language here.
This work of Mahmoud Kashgari, which holds significant importance for Turkic peoples, has been rearranged for the first time in modern Arabic alphabet by Professor Samia Muhammad Jalal Badawi of Cairo University.
Due to the manuscript of the work being organized based on the number of syllables and letters in Turkic words, it was posing a challenge for young researchers. This unique book's systematized edition will be delivered to major universities and libraries in Uzbekistan, other Turkic, and Arab countries.

The books will be available for our compatriots who wish to familiarize themselves directly with the translation of this work at the National Library of Uzbekistan, the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, and the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.
"Divanu Lughat at-Turk" by Mahmoud Kashgari is an encyclopedic work about Turkic languages, recording valuable information on the Turkic tribes and clans living in the territory of Central Asia in the second half of the 11th century, their social conditions, language, history, poetry and proverbs, customs, the geography of the region, metrology, and astronomy. The work cites over 8,000 Turkic words, using Arabic vowels to ensure their correct pronunciation.
