According to the order, starting from 2024, the examination process for admission to state higher and professional education institutions (excluding vocational schools) is set to be conducted simultaneously based on the principle of “test first, selection after”.

In this process, applicants will participate in the selection for admission to firstly the undergraduate programs of higher education, and then to professional education institutions, based on the scores they have accumulated from the test examination.

The entrance exams for admission to higher and professional education institutions will be held in July-August.

The admission process to the undergraduate programs of state higher education institutions will be carried out in the following 2 stages:

In the first stage, applicants will register for the test examination from June 5 to June 25 (including June 25) every year and choose the set of subjects for the test examination, the language of instruction and the testing area, and if there is a professional (creative) examination within the entrance exams, they will choose the state HEI to take this exam.

After the completion of the test examinations, applicants have 15 days to choose the higher education institution, the undergraduate field of study and the form of education. Applicants who do not make their choices will not be included in the final selection.

Applicants expressing a desire to study in colleges and technical schools will select the college and (or) technical school, profession and specialization, and the form of education within 10 days after the announcement of the final results of admission to HEIs.
