According to the law adopted on February 5 of last year, officials and employees who violate the traffic and transportation safety requirements in railway transport and the metro are subject to a fine in the amount of 10 times the base calculation amount (BCA).

Furthermore, the deliberate concealment of incidents related to violations of traffic and transportation safety or information about them will also result in a fine for officials in the amount of 10 times the BCA.

The law also stipulates the application of a fine in the amount of 3 times the BCA for transporting passengers without proper documents in automobile transport, increasing road fare tariffs, failing to comply with the approved schedule, or deviating from the route scheme.

This law enters into force three months after the day of its official publication.
