The leader of our state visited the Kumushkon neighborhood in the Parkent district, inspecting its tourism potential and guest houses. The Presidential Press Service reported.
Many privileges are being granted in this sector, and initiatives are being supported. Necessary infrastructure is being established in tourism villages. Many have taken advantage of these opportunities to open guest houses in their homes.
In recent years, the number of tourists visiting Kumushkon has increased. Today, more than eighty households have established guesthouses, serving 172 thousand tourists annually.
One such entrepreneur, Olim Yusubov, has opened a 48-bed guest house in his garden by the stream. The rooms are beautifully furnished in a national style. The guest house serves more than 2,000 tourists a year.
Seeing the prosperity and resourcefulness here, our President emphasized the need to organize such projects in other picturesque locations. He instructed officials to allocate necessary funds to entrepreneurs and to help organize additional services. It was noted that uncovering the internal potential of neighborhoods plays a significant role in employing the population.
Tourists come to these places to enjoy the beautiful landscapes. The Masjidali shrine is also one of the noteworthy places.
There are nearly a thousand such guest houses in the Tashkent region, creating 2,500 job positions.
