Sherqozi Ghaziyev, a skilled Uzbek actor, director, master of satirical songs and words, has passed away at the age of 75. The Ministry of Culture reported this today, September 26.

It is reported that Sherqozi Ghaziyev was born on May 8, 1950, in the village of Chirkay, Buvayda district, Fergana region. He graduated from the Faculty of Construction of the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute.

In 1971, he was invited to work as an actor at the Yuldosh Akhunbabayev Youth Spectators Theater. That same year, he entered the acting department of the Ostrovsky Institute as an external student and successfully graduated in 1976. He began performing roles at the "Teleminiatures Theater" in 1970. His interest in art led him to the Uzbek State Philharmonic, where he started working in 1978.

In 1990, he played the role of a zootechnician in the film "The King of the Jungle," a joint production of Uzbekistan and India. Subsequently, after opening the "Sherkhan" studio in 1992, he collaborated with Indians to produce the comedy film "Sherkhan the Tractor Driver" in 2006 and the melodrama "You Are Not Alone" in 2008.
