Turkish actress Nurgul Yesilcay, known to Uzbek viewers through the role of Bahor Koradog in the series “Ishkomli uy”, is returning to the screen at age 50 with a new leading role.
Born on March 26, 1976, Nurgul Yesilcay gained great fame in the early 2000s with the role of Bahor in the series “Ishkomli uy” (“Asmalı Konak”). In the series, the actress portrayed the character Bahor Koradog, who stood at the center of love and family relationships.
Yesilcay is now playing the leading role in the series “Omur Usta”. The new project, being filmed by “Ay Yapim”, tells the story of a woman who raises her children under difficult living conditions.
In the series, the actress appears as Omur, who, after being abandoned by her husband, is left with three children and her mother-in-law. She works in car repair to support her family. Omur’s main goal is to get her children on their feet and find her own place in life.
The first trailer of the series has also been shown. It depicted Omur’s hard life, her struggle for her children, and her worries about making a living.
The script of the series “Omur Usta” was written by Chagla Kizilelma, and directed by Hilol Saral. Along with Nurgul Yesilcay, Bulent Inal, Gonja Vuslateri, and other actors are participating in the project. The series is expected to air on NOW channel starting September 2026.
