A new electronic system called "Consumer Appeal" will be launched starting from December 1. This system will serve to promptly review citizens' complaints and increase accountability.

In today's digital world, ensuring the principles of fair competition and an open market remains one of the urgent tasks. For this purpose, the Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights is implementing a number of innovative solutions based on the "Fair Tech" information system.

As part of the FAIR TECH system, developed by the "Digital Transformation and Outsourcing Center" under the Committee, a module was created to automatically detect excessive price markups in pharmacies. As a result, over 14.2 billion soums in excessive income were identified and returned to the population from more than 332 thousand cases in 1,525 pharmacies.

Furthermore, an escrow system has been implemented for the sale of newly constructed housing, and measures are being taken to ensure the security of users' funds.

It has been noted that since the beginning of the year, the number of appeals received from consumers has decreased by 25 percent compared to last year.

Citizens can contact the Committee via the 1159 short-number call center, Telegram bot (@rquzBot), the official website, and JivoChat to submit their appeals. From 2020 to 2025, the number of appeals received in various fields exceeded 128 thousand.

According to the President's decree, the new "Consumer Appeal" electronic system will be launched on December 1, 2025. This platform allows for complaints to be automatically directed to the responsible persons and enables real-time monitoring of their review status.
