Starting from January 1, 2026, the "Elimination of Bureaucratic Barriers - 2030" program aimed at the digital transformation of public administration and increasing its efficiency will be launched in Uzbekistan.
The following main tasks of the Program are identified:
• improving the quality of life of citizens by providing quick and convenient access to public services;
• stimulating entrepreneurship and increasing the country's investment attractiveness;
• forming a positive international image of Uzbekistan in the field of digital and public administration;
• reducing the risk of corruption by eliminating excessive regulations and increasing the transparency of processes.
A Project Office will be established under the Agency for Strategic Development and Reforms to coordinate the implementation of the Program.
The development and review of proposals for eliminating bureaucracy, as well as assessing the effectiveness of the implemented work, will be carried out through the Zero Bureaucracy digital platform, which is owned and operated by the agency.
Monitoring the execution of the decree, as well as coordinating the activities of the responsible organizations, has been entrusted to the President's Advisor on Strategic Development, Sardor Umurzakov.
