The new line organized at the "Surkhon Sandwich" enterprise located in the Termiz district has a capacity to process 30 thousand tons of basalt raw material per year. Within the project's scope, the capability to produce finished products worth 345 billion soums has been created.
The products are being exported to Tajikistan and Afghanistan, in addition to the domestic market. Ninety-five percent of the raw material is supplied from deposits in the Oltinsoy district. Two hundred permanent jobs have been created at the enterprise.
The President gave instructions on improving product quality, expanding the level of localization, and developing export directions. At the end of the visit, the head of state departed for Tashkent.
