According to the data from the Geology Committee of Kazakhstan, there are over 4 billion tons of oil in the region, which, at the current extraction rate, is estimated to last approximately 50 years.
Gold reserves are estimated at 2.3 thousand tons, which, at the current extraction rate, is calculated as a 37-year resource.
The Committee's head, Kanat Yerubayev, emphasized that the continuous exploration and renewal of resources are of crucial importance for preserving and expanding the country's economic potential.
