Today, on May 27, an An-2 aircraft performing aviation-chemical work crashed in the Pavlodar region of Kazakhstan. According to preliminary data, the aircraft struck a high-voltage power transmission line. This was reported by Kazinform.
The aircraft was operated by the association of legal entities "Operators of Light and Ultralight Aviation" (ELISA) and was carrying out aviation-chemical work.

There were two people on board. One of them died. The second pilot was removed from the aircraft by rescuers from the Emergency Situations Department.
"In accordance with current legislation, this aviation incident will be investigated by the Department for Investigation of Accidents and Incidents in Transport of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Department employees have been dispatched to the scene," says a statement from the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan.
