The summit, chaired by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, was attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, and a number of other officials.
The meeting discussed issues of expanding multilateral trade and economic cooperation, developing industrial cooperation, and implementing joint programs.
In his speech, President Mirziyoyev emphasized that mutually beneficial cooperation with the EAEU states remains one of the key areas of Uzbekistan's foreign economic policy.
The head of state noted the growing volume of mutual trade, the strengthening of logistics links, and the formation of new areas of cooperation in the digital economy and energy sectors.
Furthermore, the President stressed the importance of creating a unified digital space for barrier-free trade with the EAEU and establishing digital data exchange in the customs and phytosanitary fields.
Mirziyoyev also put forward proposals on creating "smart" transport and customs corridors, developing an industrial cooperation program, and introducing "green" technologies.
In addition, he proposed integrating national electronic employment services in the field of labor migration and jointly promoting the "Central Asian Tourism Ring" initiative.
In conclusion, the President emphasized that Uzbekistan's participation in multilateral programs and projects within the EAEU framework will serve to strengthen mutually beneficial partnership.
