On June 1, on the occasion of International Children's Day, the first interactive children's museum in the country was launched at the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan in Tashkent (established).

In his speech at the ceremony, the director of the Center, Firdavs Abdukhalikov, emphasized that this project will serve to interest the younger generation in science and to educate them in a spirit of respect for national heritage.

He noted that one of the main tasks of the Center, established on the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan, is to raise young people as enlightened and knowledgeable.

The event was also attended by Ahmed Salim, producer of the UK-based organization "1001 Inventions." In his speech, he called on Uzbek children to draw inspiration from the legacy of great scholars and to become authors of new discoveries in the future.

Additionally, Deputy Minister of Preschool and School Education Azizbek Turdiev noted that the Center is an important scientific and educational hub for young people and emphasized the need to effectively use the opportunities created here.

It was reported that the new children's museum is designed for children aged 7 to 12 and consists of four special pavilions covering history, innovation, and STEM fields.

In the exhibition, visitors can explore interactive animations, touch screens, digital avatars of great scholars, an animated film created using artificial intelligence, and various scientific and practical laboratories.

As the most interesting part of the project, interactive stations dedicated to the legacy of Khwarizmi, Ahmad al-Farghani, Mirzo Ulugbek, Ali Qushchi, and Ibn Sina have been set up. There, children will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in logical thinking, astronomy, physics, medicine, and modern technologies.

It was noted that the museum is equipped in accordance with international children's safety standards. All informational materials and instructions are presented in Uzbek, Russian, and English.

Representatives of republican mass media and bloggers also participated in the opening ceremony.
