Turkey's Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan stated that the war initiated by the USA and Israel against Iran in violation of international law is increasingly facing the risk of regional expansion. This is reported by "zamon.uz".

It is noted that Fidan emphasized that the attacks by the US and Israel against Iran are having a very serious impact on regional and global politics, warning: "Unfortunately, this war started by America and Israel in violation of international law is increasingly facing the risk of regional expansion."

Fidan said that from the very beginning, Turkey's goal has been to prevent the war from starting, to stop it if it does, to prevent its spread, and not to get involved in the process. He added that the country is acting within this framework.

"Our main goal is to stop the war. In achieving this, it is important for us that the war does not spread to other countries and that permanent hostility and instability do not arise in the region. I hope that the war will end someday, one way or another," said the minister.

Hakan Fidan also emphasized that hostility between countries can last for years after wars.

The minister also noted that the region is being gradually drawn into a game structured on an Israeli scenario.

"At this point, while a war is being waged against Iran, unfortunately, we see that the seeds of conflict are being sown in the region by Israel, which makes the unity of Muslims in the region almost impossible. In other words, Turkey's main goal is to prevent the emergence of this conflict."

He noted that the attacks by Israel and the US pose a threat to some states in the region, that Iranian missiles and drone attacks have been carried out against 7-8 states, and advised patience and avoiding excessive reactions.

"Reciprocal responses by states in the region will lead to long-term consequences. This is exactly the scenario Israel wants. That is, Muslim states need to enter into a long-term conflict with each other in the region. Please do not do this, this is our advice to Iran as well as to other countries."

Fidan emphasized that the main topic at the meeting in Riyadh was the states attacked by Iran and that Turkey's position is not to allow any provocation.
