As a result of inspections conducted in ministries, agencies, and local administrations that violated requirements for the timely review of citizen appeals, 19 employees were dismissed and disciplinary measures were taken against 36 individuals. This was reported by the People's Reception Office of the President of Uzbekistan here.
It was noted that, as part of the implementation of the President’s Decree No. 51 of April 1, 2026, the activities of state bodies in handling appeals were studied.
During the inspections, it was found that in 41 ministries, agencies, and local administrations, deadlines for reviewing appeals were violated in a total of 1,070 cases.
On this basis, responsible officials were instructed to eliminate shortcomings, hold guilty employees accountable, and prevent such situations from recurring.
According to the analysis, a list of ministries, agencies, and local administrations that most frequently violated the deadlines for reviewing citizen appeals during the reporting period was published.
According to it, the following organizations recorded the highest number of violations:
Andijan regional administration — 137 cases;
Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment — 107 cases;
Surkhandarya regional administration — 103 cases;
Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights — 79 cases;
"Association of Mahallas of Uzbekistan" — 65 cases;
Tashkent city administration — 55 cases;
Kashkadarya regional administration — 45 cases;
Family and Women's Committee — 45 cases;
Namangan regional administration — 44 cases.
Following the inspections, materials from 13 agencies were sent to the Prosecutor General's Office for legal assessment.
