The average score of high school graduates entering higher education institutions has increased from 69.8 to 78 points over five years. This information was provided by the Assessment and Qualification Agency. 

It has been reported that we can see an increase in the average scores of high school graduates entering higher education institutions from 69.8 points to 78 points over the last five years (2020: 69.8 points, 2021: 74.9 points, 2022: 75.8 points, 2023: 76.1 points, 2024: 78 points).

Significantly, while the average score for the 2024 applicants was 70.8, the current year's average score for high school graduates is 7.2 points higher than the overall indicator.

Of the 41,009 applicants who scored above 75 percent of the maximum score (141.75+ points), 32,949, or 80 percent, are graduates from this current year.

"Of course, we need even higher indicators. The important thing is that there is positive progress in the numbers. Dear teachers and parents, it is essential to further increase our attention to our children's education to achieve better results in the coming years," – stated in the report.
