In Istanbul, arrest warrants were issued for 16 suspects in the case of stalking famous people. 14 of them have been detained, and a search has been announced for 2 more individuals. Among those wanted is actress Hande Erçel.
As part of the investigation, a special operation was carried out simultaneously at 16 addresses by officers of the Istanbul Narcotics Crimes Combat Department. As a result of the operation, 14 suspects were detained, and a search was announced for 2 more individuals.
First Statement from Hande Erçel
Hande Erçel, who is wanted, made the following statement through her social media page:
I have been abroad for almost a month due to my education. Late last night, I learned about this situation from the news spread in the media, just like you. To bring clarity to the matter, I will return to my country and provide all necessary explanations and am ready to give a statement. I am a person who loves her homeland and trusts her state and the Turkish judiciary. I believe the ministry will bring clarity soon.
