A traffic accident occurred at the Kamchik Pass due to the failure of a truck’s brakes, resulting in the death of two people. This was reported in the "Zamon" information program on the "Sevimli" TV channel here.
The incident happened on July 31st at around 16:00 on the 242nd kilometer of the A-373 Tashkent—Osh road. The truck, traveling from Tashkent to the valley direction, lost control, crashed into the concrete barrier in the middle of the road, and crossed over to the opposite direction, colliding with Cobalt and Matiz cars.
The traffic accident resulted in the Matiz and the truck falling into a ravine. Two citizens died at the scene.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations rescuers, with the help of special equipment, extracted both vehicles from the depth and mitigated the consequences of the situation.
Currently, investigations are being conducted by the relevant organizational staff.
