Today, on August 4 at 03:02, a fire broke out in a three-story shopping center located in the Bobotog neighborhood of the Shurchi district, Surkhandarya region.
The fire engulfed the first and second floors of the facility.
After the report about the incident was received by the Emergency Situations Department of the Surkhandarya region, fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene at 03:15.
As a result of prompt actions, the fire was contained by 05:10 and, after a prolonged effort, was completely extinguished by 07:30.
A total of 10 fire-rescue crews and 2 water tankers were involved in the firefighting efforts. So far, no information has been recorded about injuries or fatalities caused by the fire.
