From 1-8 August this year, Tashkent is hosting the World Championship for school students aged 9 to 17 and young men and women under 20 in the rapid and blis directions of chess. In it, 269 chess players from 20 countries around the world are competing for the championship.
According to a report by the Press Service of the Syrdarya Regional Administration, as announced yesterday, in the rapid chess category of this prestigious tournament, an 11th-grade student from School No. 18 in Sardoba District, Bahrom Bakhrillaev, scored 7 points out of 9 possible, thereby winning the world championship.
For your information, Bahrom Bakhrillaev will also participate in the blisdirection matches to be held on August 6-7.
