According to the court verdict, Bahodir Ghulomov had colluded in criminal activities with Najmiddin Numonov and the dangerous recidivist Zafar Adilov at the beginning of January 2024.
They told the responsible persons of the "Kogon oil-extraction plant" JSC, who were being investigated for extremely serious crimes by the province's prosecutor's office, that they would not announce charges against one of them or solve the issue of criminal liability. For this, they demanded a bribe amounting to 100 thousand dollars .
On January 15, Ghulomov received 100 thousand dollars through N.N. He demanded again 100 thousand dollars in exchange for not involving other related persons of the company and shielding them from prosecution through officials at the Bukhara regional prosecutor's office, and received 44 thousand dollars. Out of this, 10 thousand dollars were taken by A.Z., and the remaining 34 thousand dollars were kept by N.N. to be given to Bahodir Ghulomov in the future.
During a rapid operation on February 13, Bahodir Ghulomov was caught red-handed with material evidence while receiving 56 thousand dollars through N.N. During the operation, it was discovered that there were 34 thousand dollars left in N.N.'s Cobalt car, which was also officially seized.
In addition, A.Z. promised to close the criminal case by transferring it to the proceedings of the GP through his acquaintances at the General Prosecutor's Office. For this, he demanded a total of 100 thousand dollars.
40-year-old Bahodir Ghulomov has been working as the prosecutor of Kogon district since April 2022.
