The Cultural Heritage Agency's press service has officially responded to reports of paintings being sold in museums here.
It has been noted that art items, alleged to be related to the Art Museum collection, have been put up for online sale, which has led to widespread discussions.
Concerning this matter, officials have meticulously examined the artworks put up for sale. Relevant inquiries and explanatory reports about this have been reviewed by museum protectors.
According to information, these paintings do not belong to the museum collection, and their sale online has no connection to the Art Museum being closed for reconstruction and current repairs.
All exhibits of the Art Museum have been fully digitized, and the number of electronically identifiable museum items and prime collections in state museums continues to grow steadily.
