A medical worker operating in the old railway hospital, which belongs to the Karshi city branch of the Republic's Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Assistance, was found dead in the elevator shaft. This was reported in the “Central Studio” show.
It was revealed that a woman working as a cleaner in the hospital tried to use an elevator in the hospital building during her work. However, she fell into the shaft due to the elevator being out of order.
Close to dusk, the cleaner opens the door to use the elevator. According to assumptions, the 36-year-old woman falls down the elevator shaft due to its malfunction, reports journalist G‘olib Amirov in the segment.
According to officials informing the journalist, this elevator was intended for the use of severely ill patients only with the participation of a specialist.
Because the woman did not appear at work, her colleagues informed her sister, who also works at this hospital. When that led to no result, law enforcement was notified.
After more than 20 hours of search, on August 4, 2024, the 36-year-old woman was found dead in the elevator shaft. As the journalist emphasized, the use of this elevator was prohibited after the incident.
According to neighbors, the deceased had three children. Her husband works in Russia.
Currently, pre-investigative procedures are being carried out by the Karshi city police department.
