All industrial enterprises are dissatisfied with being charged double the amount if they exceed the established limit for electricity and gas consumption. This was announced by the President during a meeting here.
Such restrictions that affect the growth of our industry have been designated for reduction.
Now, if the consumption of electricity and gas exceeds the limit by up to 20 percent, the base tariff will remain unchanged. If consumption exceeds 20 percent, the payment for the exceeded part will increase by 20 percent.
Businesses rated as “high” or “medium” in the entrepreneurship rating are allowed to split the prepayment for electricity into two monthly payments.
Entrepreneurs with debts from the budget, loans, and others, who have been put under “collection”, cannot make payments for electricity, gas, and water. Meanwhile, if production does not stop, the debt would be cleared faster.
From now on, payments for utility services will not be stopped even when under “collection”.
The procedure for changing from one activity to another within the land fund is not clearly defined in rural and non-rural areas.
For example, an entrepreneur who wants to replace an orchard with a greenhouse does not know where to start or whom to approach. Or, the entrepreneur cannot build a pond for drip irrigation, a small-capacity sorting and storage warehouse in their orchard.
Thus, for each land plot, what type of main activity it can be switched to, and what auxiliary facilities can be placed will be clearly defined.
For this, from January 1, a unified classifier of land plots and capital construction objects will be introduced. As a result, entrepreneurs will invest 800 billion UZS in their land within a year.
Furthermore, livestock, fishery, beekeeping, sericulture sectors, and fruit and vegetable processors are being taxed at the industrial category rate for the land under their buildings and structures.
By implementing the classifier, they too will transition to paying taxes like agricultural lands.
