Kyrgyzstan's "Tulpar" company and the operator of the automated toll collection system in Uzbekistan, ATTO, signed a memorandum of cooperation. This was reported by the Bishkek city administration, citing 24.kg the news.
It is noted that soon, the population of Kyrgyzstan will be able to pay for public transport fares in cities of Uzbekistan using local "Tulpar" cards, and citizens of the neighboring state will be able to pay in Bishkek using ATTO cards.
"This cooperation not only accelerates the integration of transport systems but also makes travel more convenient for everyone," – the report says.
The preparation process for merging the two systems has already begun.
