The SOCAR company of Azerbaijan has proposed cooperation to Syria in the oil sector.

Azerbaijan's largest oil company – SOCAR has signed a cooperation memorandum with an official delegation from Syria.

Although the details of the memorandum have not been fully disclosed, it is said to potentially cover the fields of energy, reconstruction, and logistics.

This partnership reflects the strengthening of relations between the two countries.

It also demonstrates Azerbaijan's focus on economic opportunities in war-torn Syria.
