The Ombudsman's official response on the investigation of frequent calls to the detention facility of a highly dangerous recidivist on July 30, 2024, was announced.

It was announced that a letter of oversight was sent to the Prosecutor's Office according to the law regarding the situation of summoning a highly dangerous recidivist, who was deprived of freedom in 2010, to the investigation detention facility every month in the years 2023-2024.ги

Based on the above, it wasannounced. that this situation is under the supervision of the Ombudsman, and due to the process not being concluded, no additional official response was provided to the public.

"According to the information given by the Tashkent city prosecutor's office on August 29 this year, a service check was ordered regarding the legality of the detention of the highly dangerous recidivist convict A.H. and the citizen detained in the same cell H.R., along with other individuals in the IIV Central Temporary Detention Facility mentioned in the reports. The situations identified during the service check and the documents collected have been sent to the Tashkent city Yakkasaray district prosecutor's office.

During the pre-investigation check, explanation letters from the citizen H.R. detained in the same cell as the highly dangerous recidivist A.H., and from the police officers related to the noted situation were received.

The actions of the pre-investigation check have not been concluded yet, and the progress of the check is under the control of the Tashkent city prosecutor's office," the official response states.
