The Law signed by the President (№ УРҚ-953, 09.04.2024) introduces amendments and additions to certain legislative acts. This was reported by the "Legal Information" Telegram channel.
According to the amendments made to the Criminal Code, liability has been established for a member of the election commission or referendum commission who gives out a voting (ballot) paper for voting on behalf of other individuals or multiple times to a citizen.
Additionally, amendments were introduced imposing administrative liability on political parties that fail to submit interim or final reports to the Central Election Commission regarding the state funds allocated for participation in the elections, or submit them late, or knowingly provide false information in the reports.
