A road traffic accident in the Ishtihan district of Samarkand region resulted in the death of two people. This was reported in the "Hudud" information program of the "Mening yurtim" TV channel here.
It is reported that the driver exceeded the speed limit in the territory of Odil neighborhood in Ishtikhan district with his Lasetti car and collided with an oncoming ant-motorcycle.
As a result, the ant-motorcycle driver and his child, born in 2011, sustained severe bodily injuries and died at the scene of the accident.
It is noted that a criminal case has been initiated by the Investigation Department of the Ishtikhan District Police Department under Part 3, Clause "a" of Article 266 of the Criminal Code.
The driver has been detained in a procedural manner. Investigative actions are currently being conducted.
