The administration of the "Tashkent Metropolitan" requests passengers to follow the rules of metro usage they asked.
"To maintain respect for each other during the journey, not to stand in front of the carriage doors waiting to enter until the passengers inside have exited, to move as quickly as possible when arriving at the destination to exit the train, to avoid leaning on the carriage doors, and not to leave personal belongings in the carriage and metro area," states the appeal.
It is noted that all these measures "positively influence" the implementation of intervals according to the schedule.
The administration of the "Tashkent Metropolitan" indicates that the purchase of 48 new modern metro carriages is planned by the end of 2024 and an additional 56 carriages during 2025. The new carriages will operate on the Chilonzor, Uzbekistan, Yunusabad, and the Surface Circle lines, and this will reduce the interval between trains.
Previously, it was reported that a significant congestion occurred in the Tashkent metro due to the train being in disrepair.
