According to the data from the sample surveys by the Statistics Agency, as of January to August 2024, households in Uzbekistan with two children constituted 24.5 percent. The Statistics Agency has reported this based on sample surveys information.
This indicator was 26.3 percent in 2022 and 26.7 percent in 2023.
Previously, the Statistics Agency reported that 84.8 percent of households in Uzbekistan lived in a house with a courtyard.
As noted, according to the situation from January to November 2022, the types of housing for households in the country were as follows:
- separate house (private courtyard) – 84.8 percent;
- apartment buildings – 14.4 percent;
- other types of housing – 0.8 percent.
