The US President said it is possible to prevent the war in the Middle East, reports zamon.uz.
"I do not fully believe that there will be a total war. I think, we can avoid this. But there is still much work to be done," — said the US President during an interview with journalists.
Israeli officials continue to consider options for responding to Tehran's ballistic missile attacks.
Previously Biden had consulted with G7 leaders, who agreed that Israel "has the right to retaliate, but it must do so proportionately."
"Will you send American troops to Israel?", asked Biden:
"We have already helped Israel and will defend it”.
