The price for this year's cotton harvest has been set.

If previously one had been paying 1500 sum per kilogram, now this price has been increased.

The government has set a payment of 2500 UZS per 1 kg of hand-picked cotton starting from October 9th. This was reported by the press service of the Kashkadarya region administration here.

It is reported that this price will also contribute to the increase in people's income. 

“For example, if a family of four picks 400 kg of cotton per day, earning 1 million UZS, this means a family income of 20-25 million UZS for the remaining 20-25 days of picking”, the report says.

Also, a video has spread on networks where Namangan region’s governor Shavkat Abdurazzoqov mentions that pickers will be paid 2500 UZS for every kilo of cotton picked.

As reported, for 1 kg of hand-picked raw cotton, 2000 UZS will be provided as credit, and 500 UZS will be paid by the cluster company here.
