The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has arrived in the city of Ashgabat for a working visit. This was reported by the President's press service. 

The leader of our state was received at the airport by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Tangriguli Atakhaliev, and other official persons.

The main events will take place tomorrow, on October 11th.

The leader of Uzbekistan will speak at the plenary session of the international forum "The interconnection of times and civilizations is the basis for peace and development" dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Pyragy.

The leader of our state will also hold bilateral meetings within the framework of the event.
