 According to witnesses, one strike hit a fuel station causing a fire.

It was noted that the target of the attack was a high-ranking commander of Hezbollah. The Times of Israel reports that this was about the head of the communication and coordination department, Wafiq Safa.

 Previously, the UN had reported that a UN peacekeeping mission observation tower in Ras al-Naqura city had been shot at by an Israeli tank. Two UN peacekeepers were injured. 

 The White House has demanded an explanation from Israel on the matter.
