Abbosbek Fayzullaev, a player of the Uzbekistan national team and Moscow's CSKA club, may continue his career in Turkey.
According to local journalist Osman Altunterim, Istanbul's "Basaksehir" club is continuing negotiations to acquire the 21-year-old Uzbek footballer, and the process is currently progressing positively.
It is reported that Fayzullaev himself has also agreed to move to "Basaksehir." The clubs are close to reaching an agreement on the financial aspects of the potential transfer. If all terms are finalized, Fayzullaev could move to the Turkish club.
If the transfer goes through, Fayzullaev will become the second Uzbek footballer in "Basaksehir." Earlier, the Istanbul club had loaned Eldor Shomurodov from "Roma" until the end of the season.
For reference, Abbosbek Fayzullaev played in 39 matches across all competitions for CSKA last season, scoring 3 goals and providing 8 assists.
The player's current contract with the "army team" runs until the summer of 2026. The Transfermarkt portal values him at 8 million euros.
