A group of applicants sued the Education and Skills Assessment Agency. Lawyer Mukhriddin Shamsiddinov reported this.
"In July of this year, applicants who took the exam for legal disciplines were asked questions about the sanctions of substances (how much fine is imposed, how many years one gets "imprisoned", etc.). When I was studying at the university, my teachers strictly forbade memorizing the sanctions of the articles. That is, we did not memorize sanctions at all. Because firstly, it is impossible to memorize at all, and secondly, it will not be needed at all in future activities," the lawyer wrote.
Shamsiddinov announced that he has taken on the case as a lawyer. The case may be examined at the Tashkent interdistrict administrative court.
Earlier, applicants who passed the test in jurisprudence had complained about receiving questions from laws and codes not recommended by the Education and Skills Assessment Agency.
In response, the Education and Skills Assessment Agency announced that it had previously placed a list of recommended textbooks and study materials on its website. It emphasized that there were no deviations from the existing state education standards and curricula. However, lawyer Khushnudbek Khudoyberdiyev called the agency's statement "a lie and nonsense".
