Almost 40 percent of the Estonian population believes that Russia could invade the country, according to reports by zamon.uz.
Surveys indicate that a large part of the population is ready to defend their homeland. Estonia has only about 6,500 professional military servicemen, which is why the country relies on reservists and volunteers such as members of the Estonian Defence League (Kaitseliit).
Defense League volunteers – workers, teachers, doctors are participating in training sessions on weekends. During these sessions, they are taught evacuation scenarios, psychological support, and medical aid.
