“The Washington Post” reports that on July 11, Donald Trump considered the issue of supplying long-range Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine. These missiles were previously used by the U.S. to strike Iranian territory. However, they were not included in the final weapons list.

According to the publication, during a conversation with Zelensky last week, Trump asked: “Why don't you strike Moscow?”

Zelensky responded: “If you provide us with the necessary weapons, we can strike.” Trump, in turn, mentioned the possibility of targeting St. Petersburg to increase pressure on Russia.

Additionally, according to a Pentagon source, the U.S. may soon authorize Ukraine to use ATACMS missiles at their full range—up to 300 km.

While this range is insufficient to target Moscow, it would allow strikes on Russian military bases and airfields.
