Law enforcement agencies conducted rapid operations in our capital, Tashkent, and the regions of Namangan, Andijan, Khorezm, and Samarkand last week. The pharmaceutical products seized during these operations were examined in accordance with established procedures at central laboratories. This was reported by the Center for the Safety of Pharmaceutical Products.
According to the analysis results, 288 types of 4510 packages including:
113 types of 1850 packages — were registered by the state and had a conformity certificate;
150 types of 2040 packages — were not registered by the state and did not have a conformity certificate;
23 types of 480 packages — were expired and of poor quality;
2 types of 140 packages (Neufol-S 100 mg/5 ml ampoule, Zardex 300 mg capsule) were concluded to be counterfeit pharmaceutical products, which cannot be used in medical practice.
And, measures were taken to stop the illegal circulation of these non-guaranteed quality pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
