A 48-year-old Uzbek man ran over a pedestrian with his car in Russia's Leningrad region. This was reported by 78.ru here.

The incident occurred yesterday, on October 27, in the Volkhov district on the “Approach to Novaya Ladoga” highway. At 21:15 local time, the citizen of Uzbekistan hit a 37-year-old man with a Matiz car. The victim died at the scene from the injuries sustained.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident.
