According to the Statistical Agency, as of October 1, 2024, the permanent population of Uzbekistan amounted to 37.4 million people. 

Of this: 

NUMBER OF WOMEN – 18,545.9 thousand people

NUMBER OF MEN – 18,809.5 thousand people

As of October 1, 2024, the number of men in the permanent population exceeded the number of women by 263.6 thousand people.
