Employees of the Tashkent city department of the State Security Service, in cooperation with the Department under the General Prosecutor's Office, during an operational event, caught a lecturer from Tashkent State University of Economics red-handed with material evidence while receiving $4,000 USD in exchange for admitting a citizen of the capital to the mentioned higher education institution through his official acquaintances.
In another case, a lecturer from Fergana State University, exploiting his official position, was caught red-handed by employees of the State Security Service and internal affairs agencies with material evidence while receiving $3,800 USD in exchange for preparing documents confirming the existence of a boxing qualification for a citizen living in Fergana city and admitting them to the military education faculty of the mentioned university through his high-ranking colleagues.
Currently, criminal cases have been initiated against these lecturers, and investigative actions are being carried out.
