According to the data from the Statistics Agency, as of October 1, 2024, the permanent population of Uzbekistan was 37.4 million people. 

Of this:

• Number of women – 18,545.9 thousand people
• Number of men – 18,809.5 thousand people

 As of October 1, 2024, the number of men in the permanent population was 263.6 thousand people more than the number of women.
