On November 6, within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States summit being held in the city of Bishkek, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, at his allocated residence conducted a meeting.

The pressing issues of further developing the Uzbekistan-Hungary strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation relations were discussed.

The practical results of mutual cooperation were noted with particular satisfaction. The indicators of trade exchange and the volume of industrial cooperation are increasing, and efforts to establish an industrial park in the Tashkent region are underway. The first Regional Forum was held in the city of Kokand in October. Important joint cultural events will take place in the city of Budapest this month.

The state leaders reviewed the plan of bilateral events. The importance of forming a new portfolio of projects for trade-economic and investment cooperation by leading companies was particularly emphasized.

Issues on the regional agenda were also discussed.
