The officials from the FSB, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Department of Ecology were caught accepting bribes.

The State Security Service found cases of legal violations in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, and Andijan regions.

Cases of law violations were discovered in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, and Andijan regions. The State Security Service reports this.

During operational measures conducted locally in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies, the State Security Service staff stopped several cases of law violations. 

In particular, in the Andijan region, the head of the district department of the emergency situations department was caught red-handed in his office receiving 7 million 300 thousand som for approving reports on the treatment of fire-retardant liquid solutions on the wooden parts of buildings and facilities of social sector objects in the district, operated by a limited liability company engaged in installing fire-fighting equipment. 

In the case observed in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, an official of the Nukus city emergency situations department demanded from a citizen, willing to establish a limited liability company providing technical services for fire safety to the population and business entities, to pay him $200 every month, promising future guidance on his activities. However, he was caught red-handed having previously received 4 million som for his "genuine" service. 

The head of the city department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Khorezm region demanded $1500 in exchange for cancelling the existing credit debt of a family business from the "Centralized credit history" database of a commercial bank and for obtaining a concessional loan of 100 million som from this bank, and was caught with material evidence after having previously received 10 million som. It should be noted that this official, despite having been previously convicted, did not draw the correct conclusion from his mistake. 

In another case, the chief inspector of the Andijan region's Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change in the Asaka district, despite having been previously convicted, was caught when he transferred, in exchange for 20 thousand US dollars, a 5 sotiks (500 square meters) plot of land allocated for 30 years based on the decision of the district governor of the Youth Industrial Zone to his relative for the purpose of engaging in the production of synthetic wadding, to a citizen intending to engage in entrepreneurship.

The chief specialist of the Construction and Housing and Communal Services Department of Khorezm region in Urgench city, demanded 30 million som for preparing documents for permission to build a multi-story building on a 470m2 land plot and for preparing protocols on the consent of the population towards construction works. However, the chief specialist was caught red-handed having received 20 million som of the requested money. 

Furthermore, during the pre-investigation check, it was found out that the deputy head of the Construction and Housing and Communal Services Department of Khorezm region in Urgench city was also involved in this illegal activity.

Currently, criminal cases have been initiated against all these individuals, and investigative actions are being conducted.
