An employee of the Emergency Situations Department in Tuproqqal'a district, by gaining the trust of a citizen living in Khazorasp district and promising employment at the Khorezm region's Emergency Situations Department through his official connections, demanded 1500 US dollars in return.
During a rapid operation conducted by the State Security Service of Khorezm region in cooperation with the Internal Affairs Directorate Department, he was caught in the act with tangible evidence, having previously taken 400 US dollars and 1 million 300 thousand Uzbek soms.
An employee of the Emergency Situations Department in Shovot district was also caught while receiving 1400 US dollars and 1 million 300 thousand Uzbek soms in exchange for promising to obtain a driving license for a citizen through his connections within the internal affairs bodies.
Currently, criminal proceedings have been initiated against these emergency rescuers under Articles 168 and 211 of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are being carried out.
